Where it started

Eight in ten questions a Shopify store receives are the same ones: where is my order, do you have this in M, can I return it, how long do I have. The answers all exist already, in the order record, the stock level and the policy page, but each one still needs a person to type it, usually in the evening, at the weekend, or halfway through a sale.

Generic chatbots were supposed to fix this. Instead they created a new job: checking whether the bot made something up. An invented returns policy is a refund you have to honour. We wanted the opposite: an agent that would rather say “I am not sure, I have passed this to the team” than guess.

Five lines we do not cross

These are not intentions. They are how the product behaves today.

  • Answers only from your content. Your catalogue, your orders, the policies and FAQs you uploaded. If the answer is not there, it says so and hands over, with the whole conversation attached.
  • Money stays in your hands. Returns and cancellations arrive as requests in your Inbox for your team to approve. Refunds happen in Shopify, always by you.
  • No invented measurements. “Does it run small?” gets the size reply you wrote, or the size chart on the product page. It never invents a centimetre.
  • Every brand kept separate. One account can hold several stores, but content, tone, orders and permissions never mix. Brand A’s customer never gets brand B’s policy.
  • Your data does not train models. Conversations and uploaded content are used only to run your own service. We are a UK-registered company under UK GDPR, and every word of that is in the Privacy Policy.

Why fashion first

Because fashion asks the most specific questions and is the easiest to get wrong: size, colour, material, returns. That is where we put the most work: live stock checks, “medium”, “中碼” and “M” understood as one size, return windows counted from dispatch. Other kinds of store can run the same agent, but we will tell you whether it fits before we take your money.

What we deliberately left out

There is no “97% resolved automatically” on our homepage, because we do not yet have a customer base to compute one honestly. Your own dashboard shows your resolution rate, first reply time and the orders that followed a chat, each linked to the conversations behind it. When there are real stories, they will carry real names and real figures.

One promise: if you ask whether a feature exists, the answer will be “yes”, “no”, or “being built, here is the date”. There is no fourth answer.
